You need to prepare spiritually (I know you might think I am being sentimental or too religious but it is a basic need).  I will advice you to start your prayers as early as possible. PRAYER WORKS and you need it to keep your sanity and remain motivated in law school.Begin praying about your results in law school from now on. Get closer to your GOD, not only because of bar finals though. I started praying about the law school I wanted to go and my desired result from my final year in University of Lagos. The next question you need to ask yourself is why do you want to attend law school. Are you attending law school to make a mark in the sands of time or just to pass through law school and be done with it? It might seem too early but it is what will keep you going when all seems lost. Remember when there is a will, there is a way and the early bird always catches the worm. Make up your mind that you are going to succeed and you will.

The next form of preparation that you need to undertake is acquiring information. The secret of success is information and preparation. You need to find out what law school entails. What courses do they take in law school? What is a course outline like? what are you required to do? What are the dos and the don’ts? How did the previous students cope? What did the resit students do wrong? What did the first-class students do right?
